      On Campus

      Eric Smith, of the Cream Ridge section of Upper Freehold, was recently named to the dean's list of the University of Vermont School of Business Administration. Eric graduated from Allentown High School, class of 2004 and served as class president for three years.

      He is pursuing a business degree and is looking for a career in International Business as he minors in Spanish and Environmental Sciences. He also is the treasurer of the Outing Club at the university, which manages expeditions through the Northeast mountain corridor.

      Matt Schottlander, son of Donna Schottlander of the Perrineville section of Millstone Township, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at York College of Pennsylvania, York. To receive this distinction, students must carry at least 12 academic credit hours and attain a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Schottlander, a graduate of Allentown High School, is pursuing a degree in long-term care administration with a minor in business administration.

      Emily Valko, daughter of William and Audrey Valko of the Perrineville section of Millstone, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, Pa. Valko, a senior biopsychology major, is a 2003 graduate of Allentown High School.
