The Allentown Redbirds Pop Warner Organization is proud to announce that Kelly Blair and Andrew Schreck have been chosen as members of the Pop Warner Eastern Region Scholastic Team for 2007. This honor is given to the top 35 football players and the top 25 spirit leaders in each grade level (5-8) from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Deleware. Kelly and Andrew will be honored at a banquet on March 17. Their applications will be forwarded and considered for National Scholastic honors. Glidemaster, winner of the 2006 Trotting Triple Crown and more than $1.9 million in purse money, was named the New Jersey Standardbred of the Year by the Equine Advisory Board of the state Department of Agriculture. The advisory board made its selection upon the recommendation of the Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association of New Jersey and its Breeders Committee.
