Registration to start soon for kindergarten
      MILLSTONE - Township tots ready for kindergarten should mark their calendars for March 7 or 8. That's when the Millstone Township School District will hold its kindergarten registration for the 2007-08 school year. Those registering with last names beginning with A-L can register from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7.

Preconstruction manager says DEP seems frustrated with town's master plan

      Although no public comment was allowed at the Jan. 31 Upper Freehold Regional Board of Education meeting, board members had plenty to say. Paul D'Alto, the new middle` school's preconstruction manager, of Hill International in Marlton, had given a presentation comparing the possible sites for the new middle school on Ellisdale and Breza roads.

Allentown robotics team receives $10,000 grant
      ALLENTOWN - They're in the money. The Upper Freehold Regional Education Foundation (UFREF) and the Allentown High School robotics team, known as Redbird Robotics, recently received a $10,000 grant from Bristol-Myers Squibb in North Brunswick.

Both potential middle school sites have issues

      ALLENTOWN -No matter where the new middle school is located, students probably won't occupy it until September 2010. That was the conclusion the preconstruction manager for the proposed middle school provided to the Upper Freehold Regional Board of Education on Jan. 31.
