The Allentown Garden Club will host Dr. Marie Miczak in a lecture on aromatherapy, flowers and healing, and herbal gardening. The presentation will include the creation of natural beauty products from the garden. The meeting and program will take place at 7 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Allentown Methodist Church, Church Street.

vendors & crafters sought

The Millstone Township Women's Organization (MTWO), will be hosting its second annual 'Shop 'til You Drop" vendor night Nov. 17 from 7-10 p.m., at the Millstone Township Elementary School. Home demonstration vendors & crafters wanted, to sell items to local shoppers for the holiday season. Spaces are $50 (including table); some limited spaces with electric. Movie nights scheduled this fall in Roosevelt

Theater workshop slated

in Millstone Township

Based on the holiday classic "A Christmas Carol," an intermediate and advanced workshop class will culminate in two local performances of "Scrooge" on Dec. 15 and 16. No auditions are necessary, but the class is limited to 30 individuals. The workshop is open to those ages 10 and older.

The class will be taught and directed by Laurie Edwards, president of Phoenix Productions, the award-winning theater company that performs out of the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank. Class will meet Tuesday and Thursday nights in the Millstone Elementary School cafetorium from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 10 through Dec. 16. Fee is $175 for more than 30 hours of class time, plus the performances.
