      For the Record

Due to a misinterpretation, an article titled "Hogan to oversee $7M equine hospital in N.Y." in the Sept. 7 Examiner stated that Dr. Patricia Hogan operated on Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro.

Hogan, however, did not actually operate on the horse. She was merely using Barbaro's surgery - which was performed by another surgeon - as an illustration of how modern veterinary surgeons prefer to wait a day before operating after a horse breaks its leg.

Also, an editorial titled "U.F. has one chance to stop warehouses" in the Aug. 31 Examiner stated that the proposed warehouse project for a site on Breza Road only requires one variance when instead it requires two, one for parking and another for landscaping.

      We regret the errors.
