Hope Fire Company thanks its supporters

I want to thank all of you that continue to support our fire company through your donations. I know that there are many demands from local and national organizations for your donations and I want you all to know that your donations are greatly appreciated. With your generous donations, the fire company is able to continue our fire prevention seminars at the elementary and middle schools, candy gift bags at the Halloween parade, and also our Santa Claus tours of Allentown Borough and Upper Freehold Township as well as many other services. Hope Fire Company is a volunteer owned fire company since 1818 and with your support we hope to stay that way for many more years to come. Once again, thank you!

I also want to welcome home Steve Alexander and Paul Steelman. Both these brave men have recently returned from tours of duty in Iraq. Paul is in the Army as an infantry soldier and Steve is a lawyer for the Judge Advocate General Office. Not only do Steve and Paul volunteer to keep our country safe, they also volunteer for our local towns. Paul is a dedicated volunteer firefighter for Hope Fire Company and Steve is a committeeman for Upper Freehold township. We are all blessed in Allentown and Upper Freehold to have such brave and heroic men. I also want to thank Steve's and Paul's families because I know that having a loved one protecting our freedoms from over seas could not be easy. Once again welcome home and thank you. This past week we all celebrated our country's independence and my family and I are so thankful for what Steve, Paul and all our brave men and women who serve in our armed forces have done to spread freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan and keeping the United States secure.
