Sign up for Alliance's golf outing by July 12
The Upper Freehold/Allentown Municipal Alliance to Prevent Drug and Alcohol Abuse will hold a golf tournament on July 26 at the Cream Ridge Golf Club. Motorcycle show July 19 at Byron Johnson Park
A motorcycle show to benefit drug prevention programs in the school and community will be held 5-9 p.m. July 19 at Byron Johnson Recreation Park, Ellisdale Road, Cream Ridge section of Upper Freehold. The event is sponsored by the Upper Freehold/Allentown Municipal Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism & Drug Abuse, and will feature food, door prizes, trophies, 50/50 raffle, vendors, and music provided by the Bent Fenders band. Spectators will be admitted free of charge, and all types of motorcycles are welcome. Donations are being sought for the event. For more information, call (609) 259-6019.
Open house at Allentown Christian Preschool
The Allentown Christian Preschool, 23 Church St., Allentown, will hold an open house 9-11 a.m. July 15. Children are welcome to attend. Registration is still available for the 2006-07 school year, which will feature new programs and extended hours and days.
Casino Night to benefit people with disabilities
Allies Inc., a statewide nonprofit organization that provides residential, employment and transition support for individuals with disabilities, will sponsor its fourth annual Casino Night and silent auction 7-11 p.m. Aug. 18.
The theme for this year's event will be "Country Hoedown," and attendees are invited to their western duds.
The event will be held at the Nottingham Ballroom at the Nottingham Volunteer Fire Company, 200 Mercer St., Hamilton. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. All proceeds will benefit individuals with disabilities.
