Horse camp for kids, beginners, special needs

Riding High Farm in Allentown is offering a unique horse camp experience for beginner, advanced beginner, and special-needs riders. Multiple one-week programs are being offered for children ages 8-13 at the 11-acre horse farm.

"Horsing Around Riding Camp" provides a special opportunity for children to learn the important aspects of caring for horses while learning new riding techniques.

The staff of certified riding instructors will provide programs with an emphasis on "centered riding" and "balance seat" riding. Riding High Farm is an accredited horseback riding center with the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association.

Limited space is available for the weeks of July 10-14 and July 24-28.

The goal of the program is to enhance the lives of program participants by building healthy emotional bonds between riders and the uniquely trained horses they will ride. For additional information, call (609) 259-3884.
