Millstone's fire, first aid, police earn praise

On behalf of my entire family, I would like to thank the Millstone Township Fire Department, First Aid Squad, and the state police for reacting so fast and efficiently to a recent problem.

A couple of weeks ago, we came home to a smell, which can be best described as that of a hot glue gun. We called 911 and the fire department, the police and the First Aid Squad responded.

Luckily, it was a very minor problem. The firefighters confirmed that the smell came from a bad blower motor on the furnace, but not before checking every part of the house. They disconnected the furnace and made sure we called the gas company. Luckily, no one was hurt, but the First Aid Squad was there. It is very reassuring to know that we have a great fire department, police department, and First Aid Squad to be there when we need them.
