I moved to Upper Freehold Township six years ago. Like everyone else who recently moved to the township, I fell in love with the rural surroundings. In reality, he is anything but just that and unless you already knew his story, you would meet him and think he was just another nice young man who might remind you of your own son or one of his friends. More ... Three years ago we elected to the Township Committee a newcomer to Upper Freehold, Sal Diecidue. He was elected by his fellow committeemen to be the mayor of the township in his second year on the committee. No small thing for a community like ours. And guess what? Sal did a good job! More ... I was disappointed to see Mr. [John] Pfefferkorn's letter in last week's paper. Not because it attacked me, but because it contained such flagrant misrepresentations. I understand Mr. Pfefferkorn blames me for the fact he was never mayor, but that does not excuse his conduct. More ... |
