Theresa Kinahan

Mrs. Kinahan, of Freehold Township, died March 31 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Ireland, she had lived in Elizabeth and Linden before moving to Freehold Township eight years ago. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, and St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Elizabeth. Mrs. Kinahan was predeceased in 2001 by her husband, Henry (Harry) F. Kinahan. Surviving are two sons, James Kinahan of Branchburg and Jack Kinahan of Linden; two daughters, Eileen Mantella of Marlboro and Nancy Seibert of Hillsborough; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Rose of Lima Chapel, followed by entombment at St. Gabriel’s Mausoleum, Marlboro. Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements.

Charles W. Restau

Mr. Restau, 79, of Millstone, died April 8 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Nockamixon, Pa., he had lived in Millstone for the past 30 years. He was employed by the Marlboro Township Road Department from 1985 to 1992, when he retired. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Freehold. Surviving are his wife, Violet Restau; a sister, Emma M. Smith of Levittown, Pa.; a nephew and his wife, Lawrence and Dorothy Smith; and a niece and her husband, Linda and Robert Haviland. Funeral services were held at Grace Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dr. Francis Watson officiating. Interment followed at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township. Memorial donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 200 Park Ave., Freehold 07728.

George Yuhas

Mr. Yuhas, 76, of East Brunswick, died April 4 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Shenandoah, Pa., he resided in Jersey City prior to moving to East Brunswick in 1962. He was a retired operating engineer at Local 25 Marine Division. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4699, Sayreville, and the American Legion, Tuckerton. He was predeceased by a daughter, Joyce. He is survived by his wife, Mary Eileen O’Reilly Yuhas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Denise Yuhas of Millstone Township, and John and Dawn Yuhas of South Brunswick; two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Ann Tommasi of Virginia Beach, Va., and Ellen and Thomas Richard of Millstone Township; two brothers, Peter Yuhas of Pennsylvania, and Steven Yuhas of California; three sisters, Mary Rydwin of Jersey City, Eva Talento of Long Island, N.Y., and Helen Kravitz of Chatham; and 10 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated April 7 at 9 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, Old Bridge. Arrangements are by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.

Isaiah Matthew Albert

Mr. Albert, 86, of Covered Bridge II, Manalapan, died April 3 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Malden, Mass., he had lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Manalapan 25 years ago. He owned his own bread route and a launderette in Brooklyn. For more than 20 years, he worked as a mechanic in the sheet-metal industry, retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and an active volunteer for both Hadassah and the Deborah Hospital Foundation. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Albert; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen and Barry Nusbacher of Lakewood and Jackie and Steve Weinerman of Edison; four grandchildren, Carrie (Larry) Gold of Marlboro, Jaimee Nusbacher, Sherri (Zev) Ben-Moritz and Richard (Felisa) Weinerman; and four great-grandchildren. Services were held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan, followed by entombment at the Sanctuary of Abraham and Sarah, Paramus. Shiva was observed at the Gold residence.
