Millstone Elks resume Friday dinner April 1
The following menu is planned for the remaining Fridays in April: Italian Night will be presented by Ray and Steve on April 8; stuffed chicken breast by Scotty for April 15; seafood will be prepared by the Ladies Auxiliary April 22; and the April 29 menu is still to be determined. The cost is $10 for adults and $7 for children under age 10, with proceeds benefiting charities supported by the Elks Club. The lodge is located on Burnt Tavern Road in the Clarksburg section of Millstone. Web page design, digital photography classes open
Millstone Community Education is offering the following classes. Preregistration is required. “Music Together” for young children and their caregivers, features songs, finger play, and chants using movement, singing, and a variety of instruments. Each participant receives a cassette tape, songbook, and CD to continue the fun at home. The 10-week program will be held Thursdays, April 7-June 9, 9:30-10:15 a.m. or 10:30-11:15 a.m. The fee is $185. “Microsoft Frontpage” will include an introduction to Microsoft Frontpage Web publishing and how to design a Web page. Ed Tranosky will teach the class Tuesdays, April 5-26, 7:30-9 p.m. at the middle school in room 151. The fee is $52. A three-session course on how to use a digital camera will be taught by Phyllis Caputo Mondays, April 4-18, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the middle school in room 151. The fee is $50.
