Millstone’s Michael John Adler controls his opponent during the recent Best-of-the-Best Wrestling Tournament. The Millstone Recreation Wrestling Program participated in the Grapevine Wrestling League’s Best-of-the-Best Wrestling Tournament on Feb. 27. At the end of the day, Michael John Adler achieved what no other Millstone wrestler has done before — he won the gold (first place) in a 5-3 decision over a Cinnaminson grappler. Michael John represented Millstone Township in the Midget (9- and 10-year-old) 94-pound weight class. As the first-place winner of his weight class, he represented Millstone and the Grapevine Wrestling League (29 teams from respective South Jersey towns) as they competed against Gloucester County’s best on March 16 at Willingboro High School.
