A new introductory soccer training program is available this fall for children 3-5 years old. The program, called “Lil’ Nippers,” is designed for players who will not be enrolled in kindergarten in the fall, and who are not enrolled in the Upper Freehold/Allentown Youth Soccer Association fall kindergarten program. Training sessions are structured and run by licensed trainers from the UK Elite Association. The program runs on Thursdays from Sept. 16 through Oct. 21. Players will participate in one of two sessions, either 4-5 p.m. or 5-6 p.m. The cost is $40. per player. Additional information and registration form are available at ufasoccer.com. Boys fifth and sixth grade (born after Aug. 1, 1992) — Sept. 10 from 7-8:30 p.m. and Sept. 14 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Millstone Middle School.

The Upper Freehold/Allentown Youth Soccer Association is seeking a few additional seventh- or eighth-grade boys to play on a recreational soccer team for the fall season. This team plays on Saturdays in the Midlands Division program and will play other recreational teams from adjacent and other nearby communities.
