The Samaritan Center, Englishtown, is again offering car seats through its "Give a Kid a Boost" car seat program, to address the state’s new "8-year, 80-pound" law. The car seats are designed for children 40 pounds or over. The center is offering these car seats only to clients who have been referred by a participating food pantry and have been regular clients of that food pantry for at least six months.
