On Saturday, April 24, Millstone Township will honor Earth Day by sponsoring its very own grassroots cleanup: Clean Sweep 2004. Imagine the impact on Millstone if all families take just an hour on Saturday to pick up trash around their homes and in their neighborhoods. All of us should take this opportunity to clean up the area while also enjoying the spring weather.

Many of Millstone’s roadways are lined with garbage. The snow that once covered this litter has melted away, revealing a problem that can only be fixed by community awareness and individual action. Let us decide, as a community, that litter has no place along the sides of our roads and in our neighborhoods.

It’s time for you and your family to make a positive difference by participating in Millstone Township’s Clean Sweep 2004. Grab a garbage bag on Saturday and clean up your street.
