Thanks to all involved in library program

Now that the summer is over and everyone is getting back into a "school routine," I just thought I would publicly thank all of the volunteers from the Millstone Township PTO Summer Library Program. Their dedication and devotion to the children and the program’s success were unparalleled.

I have been running the PTO-sponsored free program for the past three summers. It has been a great success. Nothing could have prepared me for the tremendous outcome we had this summer. In the past, we had approximately 40 children participate; this year, it was more than double.

We had a little bit of a rough start on the first day, only because we were not prepared for that number of children. But by the second week, all of the volunteers stepped up to the plate and things were running smoothly.

I appreciate the effort put forth by our long list of volunteers and everything everyone did for the program.
