Honors continue to follow Brookdale Community College softball coach Bo Scannapieco. The Jersey Blues won the school’s first-ever national championship back in May and Scannapieco received a further honor when he was chosen as the National Junior College Athletic Association Coach of the Year.

It was a big year for Brookdale athletics with Johnny Johnson, the head coach of the baseball team, and men’s tennis coach Rich Karpinski earning Region XIX Coach of the Year honors with Scannapieco.

Georgian Court College, Lakewood, will hold a tennis camp for girls and boys ages 13-17 the week of Aug. 5-9. from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day. GCC tennis coach Greg Wyzykowski will conduct the clinic.
