      Handicapped High Riders to host cycle tour
           The Handicapped High Riders Club, which gives children and adults an opportunity to ride or carriage-drive horses at Riding High Farm in Upper Freehold, will sponsor its eighth benefit cycle tour Oct. 6. The tour will consist of 10-, 30- and 62-mile rides, and will start and finish at the Cream Ridge Winery, Route 539.

      Roosevelt to hold community blood drive
           A community blood drive will be conducted by Central Jersey Blood Center from 5-9 p.m. Sept. 27 at Roosevelt Borough Hall, Rochdale Avenue. Anyone who is 18 years of age or older, weighs more than 110 pounds, and has not donated blood within the past eight weeks is eligible to donate. For more information, call (732) 842-5750.

      Scouting available for boys with special needs
           Cub Scout Pack 454 and Boy Scout Troop 454 offer the Scouting program for boys with special needs.
