Take care when donating food this holiday season
     I am writing this letter to point out a potential health hazard. When community grocery donations are made at this time of year, whether to the Boy Scouts, churches or other organizations, it is important to remember that most products have specific shelf life and, as such, are given expiration dates.

Kateri offers workshops on crafts, candles
     Kateri Environmental Center, Marlboro, will offer a "Holiday Treasures" workshop for adults from 7-8:30 p.m. Dec. 5. Participants will use natural materials to fashion tiny treasures to deck the halls and keepsakes for the Christmas tree.
